The Early Years

2005 - 2008

The paintings between 2005 and 2007 resemble a big influence from Puerto Rican Master Painter Rafael Rivera Rosa. In these artworks the artist was developing a self language using abstract elements to portrait the exhuberant nature of his home place. At this early point the artist was in the process of getting his bachelor degree. He was exploring the new tools he just learned to articulate a body of artworks that jumpstarted his career and got him a place in the Puerto Rican Arts scene.
